Review of calls in baseball???
I am almost certain that Soto pulled back on that swing. Maybe MLB should do the instant replay thing like NFL on swings, home run questions, and close foul balls????
Yeah totally did not go all the way around, I was pissed. Soriano had a close one too earlier in the game.
I don't know if I would like instant replay or not, but the umps do REALLY REALLY suck. On 5/19/2008 they missed the home run call on Geo Soto's in the park home run and Geo Soto throwing out a runner to Mark DeRosa who was clearly out (in a tight situation when they had runners on 3rd and 2nd in the 8th with one out). Then on Sunday night baseball the umps called a ball foul when it hit off the top of the wall in fair territory and then bounced foul.
This ump crew seems familiar?!? Maybe I'm paranoid but it seems like some umps just can't stand to see the Cubbies winning?!? Also notice that MLB officals changed the yellow home run lines at minute maid due to that Soto confusion!?!
Notice this was posted before inaleagueofherown.com as they did not post until this morning. Wonder where they are getting there material from.
Honestly, that site blows! I can't stand to read the 'threads'. This site is much more organized than anything else I've seen. Awesome job!!! I'd donate money to the cause but all I have is spot on drunken opinions!
