Warm weather this weekend...Yes Please!

Let's (Yes this is the correct spelling unlike the Ernie Banks statue who has it spelled "Lets") hope that the warm weather this weekend will help spark the Cubs hitters and we can be 3-3 by Monday. It seems like we are much to aggressive at the plate and need to claim down a little bit, along with a little bad luck. I mean how many balls will Soto hit to deep center only to die on the warning track!

Also I disagree with being to aggressive on the plate, we are opposite of that. The reason the brewers won the series is because they were very aggressive on the plate. Add up how many called 3rd strikes we took. Get that bat off your shoulder and pull the damn trigger.

You want to take pitches and work deep counts to get walks. Plus, the more pitches a hitter sees the better the chances he will get a GOOD pitch to hit. Swinging at everything like you suggest will tell the pitcher that he can throw junk and thus the batters will get out easy.

I never said swing at everything. Swing at strikes dont watch them go by. The only person good at drawing walks is Fuku. He can do what ever he wants cuz he knows what he is doing. You cant win a game going up to the plate waiting to get walked. You win games by hitting and getting men home from scoring position.

That's the point Soriano is too agressive. I would rather have people take the walk. It's all about putting bodies on da bases. You can win games by taking all walks.
